Colonial Park Cemetery
Located in the heart of Savannah's Historic District, dog-friendly Colonial Park is one of the oldest surviving cemeteries in the United States, dating back to the mid-eighteenth century. Closing a hundred years later, the cemetery deteriorated, but it was restored and reopened as a public park in the 1890s.
Leashed dogs are welcome to accompany you for a visit.

If you visit, I'd suggest you come in the morning or early evening as there is no shade for dogs OR humans. Very interesting seeing some of the vaults, especially after going on one of the historical tours and hearing the stories of soldiers camping out in them during winter months of the Revolutionary War.
