I purchased the 7 day pass for $25 and I wouldn't do it again. The small dog area is barely anything, just a patch of turf. The large dog area is covered in mud and poop, despite available waste bags. The dog pool was filthy. Rules state you must drain the pool and refill it each time, but no one follows the rules.
One would think because you pay for entrance that the place would be well kept. There were about 4 older men there with their big dogs, and the men were not paying attention to their dogs at all. I was carrying my small dog around the park trying to find an area we could play. The other dogs wouldn't leave us alone and their owners were too busy BSing with each other to notice.
I think it's a great concept but sadly, humans have a way of ruining things intended for animals. - PhoebeJul 11, 2022Small dog side is small
What a waste of money. The small dog side is so small, good thing there is shade and some seats. We stopped by before a long drive back home so the dogs could run around a bit. We were there for maybe 10 minutes.
- MariaJul 26, 2021Newly Renovated
Newly renovated and reopened. Was able to bring paperwork to Northside park admin office and received my pass. Had no problems gaining access once activated. Very nicely done space with seating under a pavilion, which was nice for humans. Pups have access to play in a pool, agility features and balls. The only thing that would be a nice add is to provide some hooks to hang up Fido’s leash but I was able to loop them on top of the fence posts. Access to water and what appeared to be a community dog bowl although I brought my own. Also access to poop bags and trash can. Really nice option for the doggos as they are not allowed on the beach during the peak season. Paid for the annual pass so we will be regulars. see you there!

The park is near the water tower. The given address takes you to the apartments at the west end of the street. After a quick exploration of the grounds, my two girls were ready to leave. If your dog likes playing with strangers or chasing a ball, this may be a good stop for you. Mine love to explore and search so this was not a good park for them.

Very basic, but better than expected for a resort town. Yes, they charge (passes only available M-F at the parks & rec office on 125th). We used the big dog side, they have a couple of plastic kiddie pools and a hose. the area is narrow but long and our pup loves to chase a tennis ball so she could run a long way. There a couple of metal bowls. bring bug repellent - the mosquitoes are waiting!
- CraigMore than a year agoOcean City's only dog park
The dog park is located in Little Salisbury park, behind the kids play area (both are beneath the giant blue water tower) bayside on 94th St.
The "large" dog section of the park isn't terribly big, but enough for your pup to stretch its legs a bit. There are poop bags available, as well as a water fountain and spigot/hose, though no water bowls, so bring your own.
Disappointing that there's a fee for use, especially since all the dog parks in my home town are free. In addition to the access fee, you also have to provide proof of rabies vaccination and a current dog license.
