    Sad day for dogs

I just moved here from Arizona with a brand new puppy. I was looking forward to beautiful dogs parks in this beautiful state but I am SUPER SAD to say that based on the condition of all the dog parks I have visited since my arrival Utah you are embarrassing.

Arizona doesn’t even have real grass and yet the parks are so nice super clean with friendly dogs and owners.

Utah a gravel lot filled with weeds is not a dog park just because you place a random fire hydrant in the middle of it.

Having a bench doesn’t make it a park either.
The safest thing is that all of the dog parks are located along side beautiful green lush parks.

The condition of the dog parks here makes me question the population of people here.

Needless to say I will not be returning to this park unless there is some kind of restoration project in its future which if there is I would be DELIGHTED to participate in getting that done!

    Beautiful views

Poorly maintained dog park. It needs some love. Large fenced area filled with weeds. One shelter for shade. I agree it has much potential.

    Great big park

We came across this dog park by accident and it is really big and clean and we and our German Shepherd loved it ... the reason we gave it 4 bones instead of 5 is because it had no shade

    The start of something great

Quite big for a small town park, with plenty of benches, and a winding trail throughout. There is pressurized water inside to fill bowls with, and tons of plants. My Boxer loves it.

A little rough, but has potential

This fenced park is large, but the ground is quite rough and it can be muddy at times. Grass cover is sparse, but we did not encounter any thorns or stickers on our visit, so it's adequate for letting your dog enjoy a romp. There is no drinking fountain within the fence and no poop bags are provided, but there is a restroom at the parking area where you can fill your dog's bowl. I have only been there once, so cannot comment on how active it is.
