    Nice dog park

Stopped on our way to Louisiana so our four dogs could run and potty. It was very nice and clean with shaded areas. Easy to get to.

    Nice park but…

could be awesome. great grass, agility stuff, even some shade but there is very little to no parking, had to park at a business down the street and walk. definitely a neighborhood park, couple of deep mid holes on small dog side. gate closures were not in good shape making it almost impossible to close.

Dog Friendly but not Human Friendly

We stopped at Ida Reed Dog Park on our way through Texas. This park was beautiful and very large. It had two separate sections for large and small dogs. The fencing and gates are triple secure, so no escape artists will be getting out! Although the grounds are well maintained, the poop bag dispenser located on the far side was empty. It’s a wonderful park for your dogs to run and play! However, it would be awesome if there were shaded benches within the park for pet owners and human bathrooms sure would be nice for people who are traveling through.

    Big park, all grass

Super close to the 10 freeway and really big. Parts were a little soggy but it was clean and well covered with grass. There are a few trees for shade.

Chiko approves, but this human is wary.

perhaps it’s because we were the only ones at the dog park today, but I was more aware of our surroundings on this trip to the park. quickly noticed that the neighborhood is a bit sketchy, especially the house directly in front of the dog park. reminder to those traveling alone to be cautious…

    Nice park

Stopped here on our trip. Great place for my Pluto to run around but there are no restrooms around for the humans.

    Marshland

This was under water. No shade for hot days, either.

    Nice but soggy

We've stopped here before as it is so convenient right off the highway when we are on a roadtrip. But this time it was very muddy, lots of standing water. Make sure to carry a towel with you for muddy feet in the event it is rained recently.

    Very nice

We had a nice time at the park . There are separate areas for both size dogs. They both have long runs , agility equipment and water fountain for pet and person . They also have several pet stations with bags. We went on a day when they were mowing in the morning so they may have just cleaned but didn’t notice any dog droppings. It was very clean. They also have a play area for kids a bit away. I just wish we had something like this in a better part of town . It was quite nice though.

    Poopy Pup Park

Well built and roomy but poorly maintained. If you don’t bring your own poop bags you’re out of luck. Which means there a lot of poop laying around. Could be a fantastic park except for the poop part.

    Nice little park

Made a stop here on our road trip from TX to NC. Very easy to get to, just off the highway. Well kept and clean. Not huge, but Terri nice areas for large and small dogs, high fence. Our pups enjoyed the break to stretch their legs.
