    Great Location

My dog loves it here, but every other time I take him there’s an incident. The dog park is really big, and also really popular and gets too busy sometimes. There are some aggressive dogs and some aggressive owners. My dog is extremely friendly and a sniffer so I do my best to tail him ,when ever he isn’t fleeting across the yard, so that I can make sure nothing happens. I’ve had an incident where a dog followed my dog around jumping on him (he plays like that with relatives pets so not too worried but I kept an eye on him) after a while my dog found the jumping dog again and started sniffing, eventually the other dog began to walk away and my dog followed. Assuming the other dog didn’t like that or something the male owner proceeded to tug aggressively at my dogs harness to get him away from his dog. So I grabbed my dog to seperate ,just to see his dog chasing my dog not long after…never grabbing his dog even though his dog is the aggressive one. I’ve seen where someone who just rescued a dog bring them to just test out how they are with other dogs, litteraly told me he had just got the dog the same day and just wanted to see if he was friendly or they’d have to give them back. I’ve had a regular tell me that having my dog on a leash could cause problems, specifically with his dog(he was kind about it but still) I’ve seen an all out dog fight. I’ve continued to bring him back thinking this can’t always be the situation but Idk if I can bring my dog back… even though he really enjoys it, it just brings too much anxiety about his safety. ( lol and there are a group of regulars who walk the track taking up the whole track and instead of making room for others to past by you have to walk around them on the grass) it’s an annoying experience now

    Visited once, won’t go back

A majority of the people that bring their dogs here don’t bother training them or pick up after them. There were several dogs that jumped on people and we witnessed one full grown dog aggressively drag a puppy by the neck across the park before it’s bewildered owner semi-attempted to intervene. It seems that no one wants to pick up after their dog and that the dog park isn’t monitored for cleaning by the park itself. The dog park is the only part of the area that does not have lush grass and is only rocks so not ideal for running dogs.

    Great Park For Our Dog

Great park for our dog Aslynn. After being on the road for hours it was great to run and play with other pups. Be aware that the dog area does not have lighting at night. Some of the agility activities need to be repaired.

A little(or lot) to many dogs.

This was a great dog park, if it did not have as many dogs as it did. We went here on the way to Idaho and it had lots of room, but there were WAY to many dogs and nobody picked up poo. Would go to a different park if I went back.

    Sad...

Sadly my opinion of the dog park is ruined by the dog owners that do not abide by the posted rules. My Aussie loved going there but one too many times a very aggressive dog was not taken out by his owner (as the rules stated to do) therefore we will not be going back. It only takes a second for something bad to happen.

It was pretty cool, Watson ran around and wore himself out and adored the water available. It's cool how they have an area for small and large dogs to be separated but the one for small dogs (which he was at the time) was INTENSELY smaller then the one for the large dogs and not as much fun for Watson it seemed when we went from the large to the small.
Not many places to sit which wasn't so awesome for me with a hurt leg and there was dirty and gross stuffed animals that were left in the rain and had maggots and bugs on it which I had to those away.
Other then that it was an amazing park.

    Review on Dog Park

This is a pretty awesome park. Huge enclosure and all dogs of all sizes are there. My dog is very friendly, she just has a jumping problem. :( I try to follow my dog around just to make sure she is being good and if I have to do a clean up...yuck! I would recommend this park to anyone in the area.

    Best dog park ever!!

This park is wonderful! Our dogs loved the large tubs of water. The only problem that we encompassed was when a woman wasn't paying attention while using the hose and sprayed us, not once, but twice!! Since we were traveling, it was really unpleasant because we had to get back in the car pretty wet and drive for many hours to our next destination. So my recommendation for anyone traveling through: stay away from the water area if you aren't prepared to get wet or muddy! Other than that the park had tons of trees but was slightly difficult to find! It's actually on rebsamen park road instead of wherever the website said. And it's back in the park to the right. Google maps is great at directing you there if you have an iPhone or just Internet access on your phone! We can't wait to go back!!

Why did I wait so long to go?

Took my geriatric and pediatric dogs to the park for the first time yesterday (Sat) evening. There were 12-15 well-behaved dogs in the large dog park. Plenty of shade, water, benches for people, and poop bag dispensers. The only reason I'm withholding the 5th bone is that there is no agility equipment for the dogs to play on. A few jumps? Small teeter? Doesn't have to be regulation size -- just 12" off the ground would do.

    WARNING - aggressive dog

My dog got bit at this dog park today. We have been plenty of times in the past with no problem, unfortunately after our experience today I don't think we will be back. The aggressor dog is medium/large, white and black with short hair. I don't know who the owner is because he/she did not even bother to call off their dog or apologize while I carried my bleeding dog out of the park. I think this park is a lot safer during the week when a lot of "regulars" are around, my advice to others would be avoid this park on the weekends and WATCH OUT FOR THIS DOG!

Nice park with room to run

This is a nice dog park with some tree trunks for climbing on, three water tubs for wading in and lots of room to run. There is a walking path through the dog park enclosure and a separate small dog area. We were there at around 6pm on a Saturday night and it wasn't very busy - about 7 or 8 other dogs to play with. Some of the locals said the park gets very busy in cooler weather, and that it can also be very muddy after a rain! (There was a mud puddle that a springer spaniel was taking great joy in rolling around in). The park is located on the river side of Rebsamen Park Rd between the golf course and Murray Park Dam (if you pass Overlook Drive headed west you have gone too far). The dog park is on the east side of the childrens playground, look for the black fencing and lots of trees!
