Alley Pond Park is a dog-friendly spot in the heart of Oakland Gardens, NY. A beautiful hidden secret of NYC, trade the hustle and bustle of the city for miles of well-maintained trails. This area also has an enclosed dog run to exercise Fido and several designated off-leash areas. Please note your furry friend can only be leash free from when the park opens until 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM until closing. Visit Website

Great hikes
Great place to walk. Trails range from 1/2 mile to 2.5 miles., and are well marked. Very lovely -- a forest in the city. Signs say on leash only, but I always go off leash, and no one has complained. Put Alley Pond Adventure Course into GPS to find the right parking lot for trails.

Goes every morning.
My baby loves it here. Especially since they get to run off leash every morning from 6-9AM.

Nice Place!
Nice trails to take your dog and your boyfriend for a walk. Puts you in a make-out mood. With your boyfriend that is.
