  Separate areas makes it nice!

  I saw a review (in 2022) that it was closed, but it’s open now! there are also walking trails around there to go on if your dog doesn’t want to mingle. seemed popular when I visited.

  parking lot barricaded and signs on the gate say closed effective 2/22/22 with no opening date posted!

  Nice Dog Park

  We haven’t visited this dog park in about 2 years. It was very clean and sized appropriately for both small dogs in one area and larger dogs in the adjoining area. I remember it being very busy on the weekends, so we tried going during the week. Most owners and dogs were very friendly. On occasion, we had to leave earlier than we would have liked due to owners not attending to their dogs that were trying to dominate my golden. Overall, it’s a very nice dog park. Additionally, the last time we were there, no shady areas existed. We just like to go there when it’s not so crowded.

  Have made improvements

  The township has made improvements each year, adding trees for shade, seats, covers for shade, concrete around the entrances. It is mowed regularly. Great job by the township.

  Great Large Dog Park!

  We visited 11 dog parks on a road trip over Thanksgiving and this dog park was one on the largest. Our two large malamutes really enjoyed the space to really run and stretch their legs. Park seemed clean and maintained and other dogs/owners were friendly. We would visit again. It didn’t have much shade covering but with it going into December we didn’t need it. Normally our furry babies need that. We will have to remember if we visit over summer.

  One of the best dog parks around!

  Very clean, dogs and owners are friendly, and there is good amount of space for the pups to play in. I’ve been two other parks around the area, one in upper Macungie and one in Bethlehem, and this one is my favorite!

  No one follows the rules.

  New to the area and neighbors said it was a great place to go. First few times it was ok. People were nice. But noticed they take the small dogs on the big side and the big dogs on the small side. Last 2 times there we had nothing but trouble. Some lady had a large dog that kept attacking the other dogs as well as mine and she would not control the dog. Actually praised him. Then the last time my husband went with our dog a small dog was on the big side. His dog charged our dog and told him to get his dog. He started to yell at my husband and came after him to punch him. Threatened to go after him in the parking lot then followed my husband half way home. No one here follows the rules and its not monitored by anyone. We will never go back there again. We wont put our dog through that and people there need to learn respect.

  Great park

  Love this park. People are friendly and responsible, we even got together and brought hay for the mud. Agree small children should stay outside the fence. Also agreed that they do need shade there's absolutely nothing there to block the Sun

  Allen township dog park

  The people and their dogs are wonderful. We all have a good time here. Very clean park but could use some shade in summer.

  Great Park

  Great dog park with good owners .... just wish some owners would leave their small children on the outside of the fence..... park is not for kids ! People need to read the rules and use good judgment.

  Great Dog Park!

  Very nice dog park that is always clean. One side for small dogs and one side for large dogs. Close parking lot. Nice dogs and owners. Water fountains for dogs in both areas. No shade so it does get hot in the summer.
