Andersonville National Historic Site
The location of the largest Confederate military prisons during the Civil War, Andersonville National Historic Site in Andersonville, GA, now serves as a memorial to all American prisoners of war. Dogs are allowed on the grounds, but not in grassy or landscaped parts of the National Cemetery. Fido must be on a leash of six or less feet at all times.
