Shenandoah National Park

Shenandoah National Park offers 500 miles of trails, all but 20 of which are dog-friendly. Travel along the Skyline Drive National Scenic Byway from Front Royal to Waynesboro, stop at one of the 75 scenic overlooks, and enjoy the abundance of nature at this paradise in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Pets are allowed in the park, but must be kept on a six-foot leash, or otherwise confined, at all times. Pets are allowed on most trails in the park, with the exception of a few heavily used trails. Pets are allowed in the campgrounds. Visit Website
