    Managed by the Deep Creek Lake Lions Club, McHenry Community Park is a pet-friendly recreation area in McHenry, MD. Bring your leashed pup for a walk on the 6-mile Meshach Browning Trail System, or relax with a picnic lunch at the covered pavilion.       Good Place To Run

      Although our pup didn’t have any playmates, she had a blast running up and down the stretch of fenced-in land, chasing sticks and balls.

      Great park!

      There are two separate areas for large and small dogs, dog waste disposal bags available, and a small doggie pool for hot summer days with a picnic table and plenty of shade. Typically there aren't very many dogs, so bring a tennis ball or Frisbee!
