Van Buren Street Dunes is a pet-friendly spot in West Olive, MI. Fido is welcome to join you off-leash in open space areas, but you must always carry a leash with you and maintain voice control of your pup. The park offers natural surface trails meandering through inland dunes, thinned red pine plantations and pockets of deciduous forest. Please be aware that pathways are unmarked, and deer hunting (archery) is allowed, and be mindful of when the season is going on.

Be aware that Apple Maps has you pull into private driveway prior to the actual park spot. Go past a bit further and look for the park signs. Small street side parking area. Our 14yr old blind min pin enjoyed the soft sand on leash while our 7yr old lab mix got her zooms in.
