Amethyst Brook Conservation Area

Amethyst Brook Conservation Area is a dog-friendly natural space in Amherst, MA. You and Fido can explore the scenic trails. Water-loving canines can splash and swim in the crystal-clear creek. Dogs must be leashed at all times except between the hours of dawn and 10:00 AM. Please only allow your pup off-leash if they will respond to voice commands. Dogs are not permitted on Puffer's Pond South Beach and cannot swim in any area of Puffer's Pond. Visit Website

    Absolutely amazing!

    Very dog friendly! Easy trails! Many trails that follows brook all around the woods with bridges and lots of nature to explore.

    A very nice Location.

    I brought my dog recently and we both enjoyed the nice clear trails and flowing stream. Dogs are allowed off leash before 10am, however while there after ten I saw plenty of dogs off leash so I assume it isn't necessarily enforced.
