I live about 25 minutes from ZBonz and have gone a few times with no issues and my boy and I had a great time. However, a LOT of people stopped going because their dogs have gotten very sick, probably from drinking that disgusting pond water. Not sure how often they do any cleaning there. Anyhoo, go and enjoy, but I wouldn't bring a very young or old dog!

Super friendly people and tons of area outside of the park if you want to train around dogs!
- AnaAug 2, 2022Huge!
this dog park has two huge areas for big & small dogs, with agility equipment in both. Although my dog spent the whole time swimming in the pond!
- MelanieJul 9, 2022BEST Dog Park!
I learned of this place through one of bring Fido‘s articles on the best dog parks in each state. I was excited to find out how right they were! It’s the only place I have found where my dog can play in water without having his leash on. there is plenty of shade, doggy poop stations (with bags) and water stations. We loved this park and will be visiting each time we pass through town!
- RebeccaApr 19, 2022Love the pond!
love the open area - that way IF there are dogs my dogs don’t get along with there’s still plenty of space for everyone to play.
My dogs absolutely love the water and will tire themselves out swimming in the pond. best discovery yet!
5 out of 5, DEFINITELY going back.

This is Nala's absolute favorite dog park, we've been here several times since we got her back in 2020 and now we live like 8 minutes from it. She prefers the big side but she loves all beings.
- LindseyJul 3, 2021Great dog park!!
Great fenced in dog park for large and small dogs! we spent the weekend in the area and went several times, loved it!

We had a good time here, our dogs love swimming, however they did get a little scraped up by the rocks in the water, I’d like if they came and put smooth rocks down cuz some must’ve been sharp underwater. We still had a good time!

I forgot to mention there were syringes in the toilet! Be careful with children in portopottie!
- LauraMore than a year agoNice Dog Park but bring only cheap toys!
Kevin and I loved this dog park, but someone stole our $10 blue tough ball with crinkle and squeaker inside. I used the cheapest toy we had just in case, but really??? If you feel the need to steal a dog toy, you should not own a dog!!! Other than that everyone was really nice, has steps down to water. If I wasn't so angry about someone stealing I may have enjoyed our first visit much more!
The water was pretty dirty too.
So one ignorant person ruined our visit. We won't be back! Murph deserves better! - KayannieMore than a year agoBest dog park in dfw
Its worth the drive! My dog swims in circles the whole time and never wants to leave when its tme to go home. Plenty of shaded areas for hoomans..clean....landscaped beautifully....great lake...lots of room to run...and agility. I wish we lived closer.
- HeatherMore than a year agoOutstanding Park for Dogs Who Swim
Z Bonz is an excellent park to bring dogs who enjoy swimming. I really want to stress how great it is to have an off-leash park that offers a lake for the dogs. The place is huge, with ample room for running and playing. The agility course is equally impressive. There is plenty of shaded seating for people who can't or don't have the energy to chase after their pups. The *only* reason I can't give Z Bonz a 5-bones rating is it needs more attention regarding the trash situation. There was an open bag of scattered trash in the transition pen between the inner and outer gates, and trash floating in the lake for the large dogs. Things like chips bags, straws and drink cups floating in the same water the dogs were swimming in and drinking. I'll continue to take my grrls there, but the park needs more attention from the city.

Lots of room to run, practice agility, and play in the water.

Amazing time at this awesome park! What a great use for an old gold course. The lake was great fun with lots of places to sit. Wash station is nice, but needs gravel around it so it's not surrounded by a moat of muddy water. - KennethMore than a year agolet's go swimming with Fido
Excellent park with friendly people and small to large dogs. Must say very well kept and clean
