Breakfast very mediocre, nothing healthy available. Limited staff one desk person at front desk per shift. Most of time they were behind the desk in a side office and you had to call out to them. Homeless all around the property at all hours. First room had completely broken A/C unit and it was the longest most uncomfortable night I’ve endured for a long time. Pouring rain and heat made this room like a sauna that I had to toss and turn in.
One person that was behind desk and wearing a La Quinta shirt, spoke no English. I asked if she had been staying dry due to all the rain. She no clue as to what I was saying. I pointed to the rain and said rain? Did you get wet? She still stared at me with blank eyes and shrugged. Then the normal night shift person came in and took over. This was around midnight. So I’m guessing they just use this lady as a front person for when they are late to work. Lol. I feel bad for them because they cannot help the La Quinta is so poorly ran.

They charge a dollar for lost keys, and you have to bring your c.c. to pay for snacks instead of charge to the room using your incidentals authorization. Room was okay, not dirty but definitely a Super 8 feel with a bit run down including the bathroom. Dog relief area had signs to clean up but no bags in their poop stations. I’m glad we had our own! People were nice and breakfast was good.

I only needed to stay one night and the accommodations were fine. I left early the next morning because I was coughing due to an allergic reaction to something in the room. Mold? I don’t know. Symptoms disappeared when I left.

We travel a lot with our dog and have already seen a few hotels, but honestly this is one of the worst I have ever visited! The bathroom was dirty, the shower door was missing and replaced by an old shower curtain. The corners in the living room were pitted, the bed sheet was stained. We will not book this hotel again.

Our room was very clean and updated compared to some of the other La Quinta’s we stayed at during our trip. Only negative is that you can tell the front desk staff really do not enjoy their jobs but that didn’t affect our opinion of our stay.
