Something different
Had a great time hearing the stories and history about Augusta/N. Augusta. My dog stayed in my lap majority of the time and she enjoyed the breeze.

Boat was a no show!
No clue why the boat never arrived, even after I had made 3 calls (one in advance, to find out how to use the service and left my name and numer. Went to both docking places where there are signs, but to no avail. We visited Augusta just for this boat trip! 😕
Luckily, we visited Aiken SC right across the river, which was a great place to take a dog for shopping, hiking and eating. So forget Augusta and the boat trip, go stay and explore Aiken.
