Place to run, water, shade for pups!

We enjoyed letting the dog out to run here. Friendly locals, dogs, and poo supplies.

    Awesome place to run

Pups loved it! Just the right size for a few games of chase & fetch. Only thing was the dog water fountain was pretty rusty, might want to bring own water & bowl.

    Amazing!!!

My wife and I had a quick drive up to Roswell and back the same day! We decided to take the pack and let them run around this park for an hour and back to the Q. Great location, with great grass, water available, and nice safe fencing. lots of shade and tables in the shade. Grab a spliff like we did and 💨

    Great park

large area for large dogs, much smaller for the little guys. water and trash cans throughout. looks like it gets muddy after rain but plenty of grass. great parking for large vehicles or rv’s.

Great dog park to stop and get out some energy on a road trip

Our dog had a blast. I didn't think it was too dirty. I agree with the person earlier who wrote it's a dog park, not a national park lol.

    Wolf Bowl Dog Ark

it’s a great spot to let the dogs unwind on a road trip. It is well maintained, there’s plenty of space to run around and it’s winter so the grass is dormant but its obviously pretty green otherwise. some toys left to play with, plenty of poop bags. all the dogs and people we encountered were friendly whether locals or passers-by like me and Max. As always, there are some dog parents that don’t pick up their poo, but this is the only, and very predictable, drawback.

    Great little dog park

No complaints! Green grass, toys and lots of potty bags. A little muddy but my girls thought that made it that much better!! 🤣

OK Dog Park Difficult to Find

Decent size, when we were there the area was fairly clean, a few piles of poop, this is the dog owners responsibility. The area in general has limited grass due to the dry western climate. Good alternative for your pup to run around off their leash, especially when you're on a long road trip. The courthouse at 400 N Main St was a great place to walk fido at night

Decent space but it was dirty.

I have a medium/big dog and a tiny shih tzu. Both the big and small area were littered with poop, plastic wrappers, and candy. long grass made it hard for us to let them roam with the assurance of them not stepping in or eating something that could be harmful/unhygienic. But if you are in Roswell for a road trip this is a fine place to let your dogs roam, just be careful.

    Perfect Location

Very pleased to find this dog park near our hotel! It was the perfect size for our Border Collie to run around and let her energy out. I’m unsure why it has so many low reviews..... it’s a dog park not a National Park. I went there expecting the worse and was pleasantly surprised. This is the perfect pit stop for your pups on your road trip. We were certainty thankful it was there!

    Suggest further signage

Average park. Like Stacy, we travel in a motorhome and stop at dogs parks everyplace we go. This one is average. Used the large dog side. Visited 3 times, had great experiences with the other dogs twice. Third visit there were young people there with two VERY AGGRESSIVE pits and a third smaller dog who was very defensive. Our happy-go-lucky, well-socialized dog ran in to play and almost had her face ripped off. To their credit, the other people PICKED UP THEIR DOGS AND CARRIED THEM OUT (that’s how bad it was, they could not control their dogs on harness and leash, had to pick them up). But, they walked through the bullpen leaving both gates wide open. Our dog could easily have taken off. Need more signage: IF YOUR DOG IS NOT SOCIALIZED AND FRIENDLY, IT DOES NOT BELONG IN A COMMUNITY DOG PARK!

Decent place for a potty break

We have five small dogs under 10 pounds that we travel the country with in our travel trailer. Today we came here for the dogs to run around, and we used the small dog park side which is about 1/3 of the size of the large dog park side. It was littered with cigarette butts, bottle tops, and garbage on the ground. The water bowls were beyond disgusting, but we always bring our own when traveling. The park is a square with one large tree and one small tree. Also our dogs could fit under the entrance fence so we had to stand guard.

    close to motels

Very close to La Quinta. Very basic but good size for large dogs to run. Seemed clean but could could use more/ larger watering areas.
