This went downhill fast. Last I saw it a few months ago it was immaculate. Now it's a muddy, the grass area is all torn up, the mulch area is bare, there are no bags left, water fountain is full of debris. Area is tinyband sloped. Quite sad. I hope they fix it back up. Maybe some turf instead. Shaded pergola is nice.

My mom and I took the pup on the Friday before Christmas so it was pretty packed and crazy so we just walked around, didn't do much shopping but we had lunch at the veggie grill on the patio. If I lived in SD I would definitely go back but with someone who can hang with my pup if I go into a store cause it's hard to shop with a baby! We didn't find the dog area but we weren't really looking for it either. Free parking for the first 90 minutes or something like that.

Private park open to paying guests (shoppers). TINY area, but immaculate. Tucked away behind food vendor and ice arena. Great spot for a few minutes. Mall itself is pet friendly although individual store policies may prohibit coming inside with a pet (ask). Parking is free for the first hour (or was it two?). Nice spot for shopping or lunch.

Expansive outdoor mall with upscale shops for walking your dog. Beautiful setting. Easy parking with first 2 hours free. Very friendly. Many restaurants have patios to dine with your dog.

They have a new dog park (Bark Park) down the path next to the ice skating ring/food court which is great. There is also a dog height water fountain by Sports Chalet. Very dog friendly!!
