    good dog park

Good park. Dogs had fun and nice people. Lots of shade and didn't see any not picked up waste.

    Hit or Miss

I come here at least once a week with my pup. 50% of the time, my pup has a blast. The other 50% is usually us leaving early because someone brought an extremely mean dog to the park and its attacking other dogs. There is one guy that brings his grey dog there often, and plays fetch. When other dogs try and fetch that dogs ball, the dog attacks the other dogs. For some reason this guy continues to come to the park, even though he never trained his dog correctly and it attacks other dogs. Other idiot people try and bring their leashed dogs here as well, and then it creates issues. Im sure every dog park has a bunch of idiot owners, but this one is great when there aren't idiot owners there. The water bowl sucks though, all the dogs tip it over and it creates mud and almost every time my dog leaves muddy and dirty.

    dog owner

There are a lot of uptight/hostile dog owners here more than any other dog park. There is a spigot with a water bowl provided by the park. One of my dogs, as well as others, have splashed their paws in it only to really anger some of the owners. I have had a face to face verbal altercation with a man that screamed obscenities at me over the water bowl to the point I had to call the Thornton police. I was told by other owners that this has not been the only incident of hostility over the water bowl. It's ridiculous that people can't enjoy having their dogs play and run without someone getting so uptight over a bowl!
