- ReneeMay 6, 2024First beach day!
Brought my Cooper here for his very first beach day (he’s almost 10!) I was surprised at him literally walking right in without a care in the world, no fear of the waves at all! We had his grandpa with us and because grandpa stayed on the boardwalk, Cooper wouldn’t stay and enjoy the water but he did get a moment of fun. All other dogs were also on leash so I was comforted by that. He’s an anxious boy, but deserves some beach time too!

This was our first beach outing since moving to FL (so we were a little nervous) but this place was perfect!
Parking was easy (we arrived at noon) and all dogs that we encountered were leashed up! It was pretty crowded (but we went of 4th of July weekend so not super shocked). We will definitely be going back! - SergioJul 4, 2022Great place for dogs and humans!
Came here as a last minute decision on Fourth of July holiday and we were pleasantly surprised. Parking was relatively easy even having arrived late in the morning on a holiday but recommend getting here at least before 11am on days that you would expect to be busy. There are showers and restrooms within the parking area. Bathrooms were pretty clean. Covered BBQ/picnic areas also available. Walk to the beach from parking is about only a hundred yards on a boardwalk so pretty easy. Note that there are stairs at the end of the boardwalk so might be an issue for someone with disabilities. Note however that beach parking is allowed for wide tired vehicles which makes it super easy for those who are ok with parking in beach area. Since vehicles are against the grassy area they do not bother anyone. Access lane is located between parking spots and where people stay so keeps things organized and separate. Beach was very clean, even with a lot of people and has nice, soft, fine grained sand. Beach area is large and wide so even on a busy day you can easily find a spot maintaining a good distance from other folks. All dogs we saw were on leash so everyone was respectful of the rules and nice. Not too many dogs.

We brought our 14yo Labrador to this beach on Thanksgiving day and, while there were a good number of people, they all seemed to be in small groups (about 8 or less) and kept distanced. The gentle, rolling waves thrilled our sweet old lady and she wandered out to chest-deep --unusual for her. The beach was very clean with waste receptacles conveniently located. We look forward to returning here!

We went for a morning (9am) walk with the Labs. Lovely flat beach with only a few dogs, joggers and walkers. Dogs must be on leash and they all were. We'll come back here!
