Bring Fido to the dog-friendly Lake Kegonsa State Park in Stoughton, WI. Leashed dogs are permitted on all hiking trails except the White Oak Nature Trail. There is also a specific pet-friendly swimming area so you and your pup can enjoy the water together. Dogs are permitted in the campground but are not permitted on the playground, in the picnic areas, in any of the buildings or on the beach. Dogs must be leashed at all times. Visit Website

Better For Camping
Went to the pet swim area and was pretty disappointed. Algae was very thick and went all the way to the end of the dock. We were technically not allowed to park at the closest parking lot just because it was for the human beach. Had to park far away and walk past the marsh area with tons of mosquitoes! Had a much better experience hanging out by our camp site.

NOT WORTH IT!!
The dog hiking trail was only .2 miles!!! The whole park is very confusing! Not to mention there was a tree down on the dog trail!!
