The DC spot, not in DC
The vineyard is probably the largest and fanciest closest to the DC metro area. As a result, it frequently gets packed.
The property is primarily split into two parts, the family/pet friendly older barn area, and the California-esque main tasting room and patio.
The barn area is nice in that dogs are allowed inside in case you need shade or to escape a rain shower. The nicer area as an expansive patio with a nice view, but the stones do get very hot on a summer day for your pets paws.
No off leash area unfortunately compares to 8 Chains North Vineyard, but worth the visit at least once.

Amazing!!
They have an amazing barn that allows dogs inside and they have amazing lawns and ample outdoor seating. It does get crowded with people and dogs on weekends especially when there’s nice weather. The wine is great and the staff is friendly and helpful.
