    Great Park

People on here need to stop rating the dog park low just because people are rough. The location is great, lots of shade, lots of bowls, lots of grass.

This is a free, PUBLIC area. You're going to have a few bad eggs. This is a review for a park. Take your altercations off the review site for sake.

    Great Visit!

We came to Foley for a long weekend trip with our pup and visited the Foley Dog Park. It was so clean and everyone was so friendly! The dog park was very large and had water available. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants to stretch their dogs legs!

    Fun dog park

My dogs had a blast playing. Large are for smaller and large area for larger dogs. Plenty of seating for humans. Even a charging station. Water spout to clean dog if needed. Did see some larger dogs misbehaving and owners not taking responsibility but that's the humans fault.

    Huge park!!!

My boy river had an amazing time!!! my only complaint was there were some dog owners who knew their dog could still be aggressive towards other dogs. Please be a responsible owner and not bring your dog to the park if they are territorial. other than that amazing park!

    Worse day ever

Took my dog and daughter to the dog park on the way out we we're going to wash off my dog a huge dog. Black Dane came up behind my kid and started humping her. She wasn't running she was slowly walking. As I tried to get the dogs off the oner is still sitting. My daughter is 5. She is crying at this point the dog has her on the ground. I keep pulling him off until I can finally get to her. Still the oner is sitting. It's okay to bring your kid to the park if they know the rules it's not okay if you let your dog do that to my kid. You will see me very soon.

    Great Location!

I really enjoyed this dog park. My baby girl, Macy Grace and paw nephew, King, had a really nice experience. They really enjoyed themselves and so did my friend and I. The people were friendly and they met some really awesome furriends. We will definitely be visiting again soon!

    Response to Kimberly

Kimberly, I saw your review of the Foley Dog park. I’ve never been there but will be in Foley in a few days and plan on taking my boys there. I wanted to possibly offer an explanation, not for the rudest of the woman in the white Hyundai, but why the dogs shouldn’t be on leashes inside the park. Dogs act differenly on a lead and it can bring about problems once inside the fence that could be dangerous for you or other dogs or your precious pooch. Instead of being a Ms. Snootypants (lol) that woman should have explained why the rules are the way they are. Trust me, the first time I took my boys to a dog park I was so nervous to let them go. But, once I calmed MY nerves down they did great and had a blast.

    Worst experience ever!

WORST EXERIENCE EVER X 2!! I have only been to this park twice and both times I was chased off by a very hateful women with license plate 5A07649 White Hyundaii, because I felt uncomfortable letting my dog off her leash. Other than the two times I have attempted to bring her here
she has never had the opportunity to socialize with other dogs. I was told I had to take her off the leash or I should leave. I was incredibly offended and embarrassed about being harassed by her in such a manner and in front of my daughter too. She yelled at me from across the park making it a public spectacle. Two other people tried to come to my rescue it was so awful! I understand it is meant to be an off leash area but until I am confident it will be a successful outing, I don't believe having my dog off leash is the best way to let her gain experience. Being a rescue, I do not know her background and I feel as a responsible pet owner, controlling her and how many dogs confront her at once is the right thing to do. If I could get a couple positive experiences under our belts, I will not feel the need to keep her on a leash. If my dog on a leash makes her and her dog uncomfortable, perhaps she should leave. Btw.....the rules on the sign only address a leash for entering and exiting the park. There is no reference to a leash not being permitted inside the park. Once the rules are updated on the public sign she may have grounds to help enforce them but until then, I think she should be asked to leave the park. I have called the Foley park and asked for clarification on the leash rule. Hopefully they will provide clarification so maybe I can bring my dog back to my communities park.
