    Its alright

Pretty basic, just fenced in wood chips, small dog & big dog sections. Could use more benches and water spouts.

It's good enough to socialize your doggo and get them some exercise but it's nothing special.

    This place is a joke

Dog park is a joke. Only off leash dog park in Salinas. Maintenance (half a day every wednesday) doesn't happen. Pull up after they open on Wednesdays and there are knee high weeds in the middle of the area. Dry dog poop everywhere. Dog fountain in large dog area DOESN'T WORK. Large piles of mulch sitting just outside the fence for months, full of snakes. Also the regulars here are real a$$holes. There is an "elite" group of large dogs and small dogs/owners that take over the small dog park every day, which I can somewhat understand since the large dog area often has dogs that are untrained and violent, but if you bring your friendly dog in to play with them they yell at you?!? No shade at all, and the main entry gate doesn even latch so dogs go in and out as they please. This park is bull$$$$. I currently drive 30/45 minutes one-way to Pacchetti Dog Park in Seaside just to avoid this trash park. One bone for at least having poop bags.

    good neighborhood dog park

I only gave it 3 bones because it has no shade or protection from the weather. The grounds are chipped wood, plenty of benches and a water fountain for the dogs. There is close in parking or you can park on the other side of the creek and walk the creek path. There wasn’t any other dogs in the middle of the day so we had it to ourselves. There are two parts, one for larger or energetic dogs or a smaller one for small or less energetic dogs. Not a huge area if there were lots of dogs but we had it to ourselves.

Excellent Place to Socialize Your Pups!

Simple design, safe area, separate areas for small and larger dogs. Includes benches and doggie bags. Very popular in the late afternoon after everyone is out of work. Lots of lovely dogs and people!
