Old Town San Diego State Historic Park

Leashed dogs are welcome to join their humans on a stroll through history at Old Town San Diego State Historic Park, where humans will learn about life in the 1820s-1870s. Here visitors will see the converging cultures of Mexico and the United States as they follow the transition of San Diego through history from a Mexican pueblo to an American settlement. Dogs must be leashed at all times and are not permitted in buildings. Visit Website

Nice stay/walk in Old Town
We stayed at La Quinta Hotel in Old Town while our house was being termited. Had a really nice walk through Old Town. A lot of the shop owners allowed Gizmo to come in (asked permission first). Will be doing another walk/shop in Old Town soon!
