Absolutely loved it here. It's magical to see. My dog was in heaven with all the new smells and things to climb on. Warning if you have a dog who loves agility and climbing, there's no guardrail and it can be slick from water and sand. So sometimes you gotta keep them close. Not a big deal though. This is a must see!

We love visiting the Hocking Hills area, especially Ash Cave. However, when we were there this past weekend they have installed new steps going out of the cave. They are great for traction, but not good for dog feet. We had to carry our 70lb. dog up about 4 flights of stairs,, because it hurt his feet. Just be aware!
Still a lovely place to visit! - RachaelDec. 22, 2021Loved it!
We spent the day exploring the trails with our dogs! There were several other dogs on leashes there as well. It was a great activity with amazing views!

Likely as an adaption to COVID the trail is one way. Clearly marked where to go with the option of extending your walk. A lot of beautiful scenery along the trail. A lot of people and dogs on Labor day, suspect that it is busy all weekends.

we spent the day exploring the trails with our puppy Gizmo! He loved it and we really enjoyed the scenery, truly a beautiful place! Lots of people with dogs! Some of the terrain can be slippery and there are lots of steps, but so worth it for the breathtaking scenery!

One of my favorite vacation spots. Lots of people walking dogs here. Not every dog will have perfect manners so just remember to be mindful of others. The walkways can be narrow and even slippery in many areas too so if your dog is really jumpy they could seriously injure themselves and you. If your dog is a leash puller, get some sort of lead that prevents that or avoid because a pulling dog would make many areas very dangerous. Otherwise happy trails and incredible beauty!
Oh almost forgot it’s so pretty that there are usually a lot of people there and can be a little crowded. Make sure your dog is cool with that.
