Hammonton Dog Park
Reviews
- MarthaFeb. 22, 2019A bit plain but BIG
This dog park doesn't have much more than some benches and water for your dog but it is BIG so they have plenty of space to run around with each other. It's about half grass/woodchips and half wooded with all the underbrush cut out so lots of trees to sniff.
It's both nice and a little annoying that you have to register to use it. This way you know everyone using it has dogs with their vaccinations up to date that are registered but you also have to remember to do it every year so you can actually get into the park. It's quieter than most for this reason but if you live nearby or visit often it's worth it and there's a facebook group you can join to coordinate trips and give your dogs a buddy to run with. - KMore than a year agoNot for visiting dogs
My son plays baseball in Hammonton and we like to bring the dog to give her some exercise. On this particular day we went to the dog park, and I was floored that there is a passcode required to get into the park. In all the dog parks that we’ve stopped at through baseball games and soccer games, not once have I never seen anything like this. The dog needs to run, and with the amount of money we infuse into the Hammonton economy through our baseball efforts, I cannot believe we cannot get into this dog park without a code. This makes zero sense and conveys how pet and guest unfriendly Hammonton is.
