    Long Sands Beach is a lovely pet-friendly beach in York, ME. Pets are welcome after 6 pm and before sunrise, May 20th through September 20th. Enjoy taking a stroll with Fido on 1.5 miles of sandy beach. Pets must be leashed and cleaned up after during your visit. Visit Website

      Great beach for zoomies

      I spent an evening here with my people, and it was perfect. There were plenty of birds to chase, people to meet, dogs to play with. 10/10 would bark here again.

      Dog loves this Beach!

      My pup loves going to this beach. Occasionally we wake up early enough to get there before 8 am but always make a point to go after dinner at 6 pm. He gets excited as we find a spot to park the car. Loves to dig and meet the other dogs. Everyone is always friendly! Too hot to be at the beach between 8 am and 6 pm anyways!

      Hi ,love this site. But just to clarify, In the off season on York beaches, dogs are allowed anytime on leash or under voice command

      Great Beach!

      We have been here several times, a wonderful beach to get some early morning exercise for dogs & their owners! Note: the description on Bringfido.com is a bit incorrect--dogs must be leashed between 6:00 pm and sunrise (not 6 a.m. as shown above) Dogs ARE allowed unleased sunrise to 8:00 a.m. May 20-Sep 20.

      Beautiful and friendly!

      This was my dog’s first time on the beach and she had a blast! Ran all over and the beach and through the waves and passerby’s commented on how fun she was to watch! Saw many other dogs while there and had a gorgeous sunset.

      Great Place

      Love This beach for the pup. My lab loves to run around the beach and crash against the waves of the Atlantic. Great place to catch the sunset with your best Friend. It’s just Pawfect😉
