I’m spending three months volunteering at Aransas and I was thrilled to learn that dogs are allowed on all the trails, roads and building(s). This is a nice change from most National Parks where dogs are excluded.
The only things to watch out for are snakes and alligators. If you keep your dog on a leash and a good eye open, it’s no problem.
