  Best in area

  10 acres of fenced grassy area, with a pond and dock in the middle. Splash pads for non swimmers. Agility course playgrounds. Separate spaces for large and small dogs. Restrooms! Dog wash station on your way out. Nature trails around the perimeter. This is a great place to get exercise and socialize. For doggy and owner. If you live nearby, it is worth every penny. Dogs are vetted, and rules are strictly enforced. We love this park!

  Love this park!

  I love happy hounds! It's 10 acres of fun for all dogs and I appreciate that they separate the areas by big dogs and little dogs (though not all small dog owners adhere to this rule which I do wish was more enforced which is the main reason it doesn't get 5 stars in my book). The pond is probably the main reason I will stay at this park as my dogs LOVE to swim and could do so for hours. It's very well maintained.

  Do Not Recommend!

  I would not recommend happy hounds to anyone!
  My dog was kicked out after 3 months. He has been to 20+ dog parks and kennels across the country and has never had a behavioral issue. He has never harmed another dog nor human but he loves to play and run/chase other dogs. All that had to happen was the other clients at the park complain and he was kicked out (he had 3 complaints + 1 sought after complaint on 2 different occasions in after a total of over 30 visits). There was no appeal process. No behavioral observation by staff. Nothing. Even when I would ask other clients if it was okay if my dog played with theirs, they would lie to my face then complain to management behind my back.
  There is no designated area for old dogs/young dogs so a lot of the owners of old dogs would complain if an active dog like mine went near their dog. These other owners even pinched and kicked my dog and yelled profanities at me - to my knowledge they were not disciplined, instead my dog was kicked out.
  I asked for a refund (!!!THIS PLACE IS NOT CHEAP!!!) and they would grant me a refund for the month I already paid for.

  A Dog's Heaven!

  Amazing place for dogs to burn some energy. There is so much for dogs to do that they will never be bored no matter how many times you take them. Very friendly dogs and beautiful land. They have toys for dogs to play with, a splash pad, agility equipment, trails, and a fenced off filtered pond for dogs that enjoy swimming. They also have an area to hose your dog off if they get muddy. The only con is the fact that they don't have many member's because it is new so sometimes the only time you will see other dog is at peak times of the day. Other than that, everything a dog could want and more!
