This was a great stop!
- KristenMay 28, 2020Nice Find!
Saw a billboard for a dog park at a gas station on our drive from Wisconsin to Tennessee, our first time bringing our 2 labs on an extended road trip so this was an awesome find to let them out to stretch their legs! I did not see the negative reviews about animal cruelty until after we stopped and while I wouldn’t want to support this place it was still perfect for our guys.

Great stop at dog park. Have a small dog area and a large dog area. Clean and plenty of space for a quick stop on a long ride.
- RandallJan 23, 2020Nice, clean, free.
We found this park by accident when stopping for gas. The park was large, well maintained, and free. There were also three or four well supplied waste stations inside the park and a concrete dog bowl/water fountain. Our two GSDs loved stretching their legs here. We are planning to seek this park out again on our next road trip to Chicago.

Before you spend $$ at this farm, go to YouTube and search Fair Oaks Farm Cruelty. The way the calves are treated here will break your heart, as well as the heifers who lose their voices calling for their calves, who are being abused til they die not far away. This place should be shut down, or heavily fined til the abuse is corrected. Boycott their products and don't spend a dime here supporting this horrible place where abuse is rampant.

I hope the media release about how you treat the animals in your care are treated shuts you down! There is NO EXCUSE for innocent animals being treated this way. The owners statement is ridiculous. They absolutely are at fault. They should have had checks in place to prevent this. I will never visit Fair Oaks again. I hope other people/schools/organizations agree!!

See recent footage of animal abuse by "care" staff. Do NOT support this company. They should have safety nets built in so even the horrific actions of individuals are immediately addressed. They allowed it to happen for who knows how long.

It’s located behind the BP gas station and is well fenced and clean. Great find!

This was a great stop on our road trip to Gatlinburg. There are not a lot of dog parks along 65 that don't require a yearly pass to visit. This park was clean, had fresh water, lots of waste cans, and everyone was friendly. The dog park is located by the BP gas station that has very nice, clean bathrooms, lots of variety for snacks from fresh cheese and protein bars to fudge and candy. Also there was a section with a variety of dog bones for purchase. There is also a restaurant and cafe nearby that seemed pretty good, though we didn't stop to try them. There were lots of cool farm activities for kids here as well. Definitely don't miss this exit if you're coming to or leaving from the Chicagoland area. Overall really happy with this dog park and the convenience it offers travelers.

I found this dog park by accident, driving from Milwaukee to Atlanta. I stopped at a gas station before getting on I65, and took the pups out to stretch their legs. Saw this cool looking park area, that at first thought was an agility arena. We walked over to check it out, and was excited to learn it was a free dog park! Big and beautiful! There is an area for small dogs, and a huge area for large dogs. There is a berm in the center of the park, several "obstacles" for dogs to climb and jump on (painted tire tunnels, wooden steps and platforms), a watering station in the middle of the park, lots of bag/waste stations as well as numerous benches. It is one of the nicest dog parks I have ever seen...and we had it entirely to ourselves. We were there on a weekday late evening. Any time I travel the I65 corrider with my pups, we will definitely stop. In addition to the dog park, the BP gas station has your typical gas station amenities, plus much, much, more: wine, cheese, sandwiches, ice cream, bakery...most from the Fair Oaks Farm right next door. The Fair Oaks Farm was closed when I was there, but looks to be worth a visit....tours, tastings, animals, restaurant, etc. The natural country setting was beautiful and clean. I'd recommend a stop here to anyone - with our without their pups!
