    Mission Point Lighthouse has been a Traverse City and Old Mission Peninsula icon for decades. Located at the north end of a picturesque drive along M-37 through cherry orchards and vineyards, Mission Point Lighthouse stands as a classic piece of Michigan history. Mission Point Lighthouse Park & Beach is pet-friendly and any pet under control can be off-leash too for responsible pet owners. The trails and beach are dog-friendly but dogs are not allowed in the lighthouse. Visit Website

      Awesome Trail

      Our golden retriever was having a blast roaming around the trails! It was a very nice and relaxing spot.

      Nice for a quick visit

      Our Ollie liked eating the sand. It’s a cute park and the light house and views were really pretty!

      Gorgeous locations, very peaceful

      A large sandy beach and trails through the woods. Dogs are not allowed in the Lighthouse but this is a fabulous place to visit with your dog.

      My Favorite Place on Earth!

      I love this park. It is relatively quiet early in the day and there is a lot of room to walk on the beach!
