The best place in the rain.

Everyone loved our dog like a local celebrity. Most of the shop owners enjoyed seeing him. Outside is a great place to play fetch and go for a walk. 10/10 I will be doing this again.

Great place to bring dogs inside

We were pleasantly surprised to find that dogs were allowed inside. Several of the shops had lots of breakable items on display, so we opted to stay out of those. Otherwise it was a great place to bring a dog. There are a lot of people walking around, so lots of potential for distractions.
We did not do any of the hiking trails as they were not well marked so we couldn’t find them!

    Saturday Farmer’s Market

Cute shops inside that allow dogs. Great option for a cold or rainy day with your dog! Also an indoor (at least in the Fall) farmers market on Saturday’s with tons of booths. left Foot Charlie allows dogs on the patio and has good ciders and wines.

    Hiking

Good hiking trails for those with pups in tow. There is poor signage to direct you to the trails. Look for the water tower and the conference center. The shops do allow dogs and where quite friendly although the inventory is a bit pricey...

    Great stop!

This area is very nice. Dogs are allowed on the grounds and there are plenty of walking/hiking trails. There’s also a small indoor market place and a winery and brewery with outdoor seating, all dog friendly! The property has a very interesting history, good food, and picturesque architecture. Definitely worth checking out!

    Awesome place

One of my favorite places to go in Traverse City, so it’s even better that you can bring your dog! Cool shops and grounds to walk around. Check out the hippie tree if you’re walking the trails.
