Lots of excellent photo ops with fido to be had at this dog friendly tourist attraction. Kind people. One of a kind experience.

dogs are free to enter. Luna got to ride a carousel, go down a slide and even join in some Dutch dancing. Overall, great dog experience.

Nelis' Dutch Village was such a fun day.
The dogs enjoyed walking around, getting pets, free sniffs, and being confused by a Llama 😂. Dogs are not allowed in the barn itself but they got to see some of the farm animals that were behind the barn, from a respectable distance. We also got some lunch, and yes my spoiled dogs got some food too. 😋
There is a fee to get in, but the dogs were free. The admission price was worth it. We got to learn a lot about Dutch history and culture. Dogs were allowed in all the buildings (except the barn), so we were able to see the wooden shoe carving machines up close and check out the witch weigh station.
The food there was pretty good. I wouldn't say it was amazing but the Dutch Cafe and Pub were good enough. The homemade sauces were amazing though. Make sure to get the sauce trio when you go, makes the food even better.
There's also a Cheese tasting shop, a fudge shop, a sweets shop, an ice cream place, and a large gift shop. We stopped for ice cream before we left and the flavors were really good.
If you want something different to check out, and are in the Holland, MI area with your dog, I would absolutely recommend Nelis' Dutch Village as a place to go at least once.

This is a great place to visit with kids, dogs & kids at heart. A very dog friendly place! Lots of Dutch goodies to eat and lots of fun stuff to buy. My dogs were able to move around everywhere in the park. My husband was born in Holland and found lots of his favorite Dutch cheeses, candies & other goodies. There were local high school kids who performed traditional Dutch dances with music played by a highly prized pipe organ from Belgian. I highly recommend a visit.
