Redwood National & State Parks

Most people know Redwood National Park in California as home to the tallest trees on Earth. The parks also protect vast prairies, oak woodlands, wild riverways, and nearly 40 miles of rugged coastline. Leashed pets are allowed in certain pet-friendly areas but not on park trails, at ranger-led programs, or in park buildings. See the website for more information. Visit Website

    Gorgeous big trees.

In the redwoods part dogs aren't allowed on trails which limits what you can do. They are allowed on 2 roads, Walker and Cal Barrel.

Dogs are allowed on certain beaches as part of the state park side of it.

National Park has bark ranger program.
