Tawas Point State Park in East Tawas, MI is pet friendly. Leashed dogs are welcome on the multi-use trails of this recreation area that has been referred to as the "Cape Cod of the Midwest." Please note that pets are not permitted on the Sandy Hook Trail, inside buildings or in swim areas. However, there is a fenced section of shoreline for dogs to play off leash along Tawas Bay.
