Metamora-Hadley Recreation Area is a dog-friendly attraction consisting of 723 acres with the 80-acre Lake Minnewanna in the center. Campers, hikers, boaters, anglers, hunters, cross-country skiers, and others enjoy a wide variety recreational opportunities throughout the year. The park has a universally accessible fishing pier. Camping Trip
Took my family camping here. We brought one of our huskies, River. We had a lake front site. She is an escape artist and decided to take herself for a walk one of the days. Very nice campers and staff pointing us in the right direction. We ended up going on a little hiking trip with the kids and River loved it. There’s a trail around the lake with quite a few close spots to access the lake.
