Nathan Boone Homestead State Historic Site
Leashed dogs are welcome at the Nathan Boone Homestead State Historic Site in Ash Grove, MO. The Prairie View Trail is a 2.4-mile, pet-friendly loop that showcases the natural beauty of the historic site. The trail travels through woodlands and grasslands where hikers can experience the diversity of plant and animal life found in southwest Missouri. Dogs are not allowed in buildings or public swimming areas and beaches.
