      Awesome path

      I’ve frequently walked this path with Nyla. it is very dog friendly with great views. There are also hilly options for those who want more challenging ventures. If you walk the basic path it is about 2.5 miles long.

      Loved it

      This is a gem by the Boston Harbor. Appreciated the breeze and great path. I took our dog on the Boston side and it was about 1.5 mi total down to the treatment plant & back. The small public parking lot was pretty packed but we got a spot.

      Highly Recommend!

      We took our 10 week old puppy walking here and she loved it! Very clean, paved and people kept their dogs on leash. We will definitely be back soon!

      A beautiful walk around Deer Island

      A great walk around Deer Island Waste treatment facility. This historic site was a prison in its early days. Views of the Harbor Islands and city skyline are spectacular. Don't miss this hidden gem in Winthrop.
