Trail of Tears
The Trail of Tears state park in Jackson, MO is dog friendly. There are educational areas around the park to read more about the thousands of Cherokee Indians who passed on the forced march. Other components of the park include shaded picnic sites, hiking trails and fishing spots in the Mississippi River and Lake Boutin. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome in the park.
