Leashed dogs are allowed to explore parts of the pet-friendly Pogonip Open Space in Santa Cruz, CA. Pogonip features approximately 11.5 miles of trails. Dogs are not allowed on all trails, as some are in sensitive habitats. In dog-friendly areas, owners must clean up after their pet and keep them leashed. Do not bring your dog or family
Unfortunately this park has tons of ticks . they get to your dog and family. When I got home my dog had 6 and my BF had 3 . It was crazy !! It was my first and my last time there, plus some trails had lot of trash from the homeless who actually live there.
