    Definitely Coming Back

I definitely like this spot because you can essentially map your own route around for different hikes. Really easy to get to and the spot and parking is free. There is not a ton of shade so wear hat and sunscreen and bring lots of water. There is a fountain at the beginning of the hike, but still good to carry some on the trail. It was hard with the overgrowth due to lots of rain this year so some parts I had to temporarily let my dog off the leash to not get tangled in the brush. Also there are some steep dips where I let her run separate from me so that neither one of us tripped and got scrapes. Most of the main trails are wide enough for side by side walking, the bike paths are definitely single file. I came on a weekday so I barely saw 5-6 people on the different trails. But I’m sure the weekends could get crowded. I definitely want to explore more off shoot trails so I would totally come back 😁
