Don't bring your dog on this trail

Cute short trail through Annie's Canyon. There are two 'versions': the left is deemed moderate and is doable with a dog, but no view of the canyon really and not as fun while the trail to the right is deemed extreme. Do NOT bring your dog on the right / extreme version unless it is very small and you have a backpack carrier for it. The right/extreme version is shoulder width slots through the canyon with a portion on a ladder. Worse, there are so many people should be a 10 minute walk was an hour. While here sitting in line stationary, a man wasn't looking where he was going (walking backward and stepped on my dog). He didn't seem to care. I asked him nicely to please watch out for my dog, which he decided to ignore and appeared to deliberately try to step on (again). There were many other dogs there, but you can't see behind or in front of you more than a person or two so I don't know how they made out without a carrier - probably not very well. Also, no shade or water, so keep the time of day and weather in mind. Restrooms are more than a mile away I believe.

    Great hike, not dog-friendly, though!

This is a great little hike, but there are signs everywhere saying that dogs aren't allowed, and there is one part with a pretty tall upright ladder that a dog could definitely not navigate. The nearby trails along the lagoon, however, are great for pups.

    Love This Trail, But..

This is a great short trail, I love this lagoon and so does my pup. But this trail goes up into the canyon where there are no dog signs because it gets very skinny and there is a short ladder at one point so your pup can’t do the whole trail unless it’s small enough that you can vary it up the ladder easily.
