Kure Beach

Bring Fido to explore the pet-friendly Kure Beach, NC! Your leashed pup can join you any time of day between October 1st and March 31st. Between April 1st and September 30th, pets are allowed on the beach during off-peak times. The official Kure Beach website has information on the regulations for a beach outing with Fido. After hours dog friendly
As of 2023, Kure Beach has dogs on leash allowed 5 p.m. - 9 a.m. after April 1.

Only dog friendly Oct-March!
Disappointing that they are only dog friendly on the beach from October to March. Local council needs to consider what Carolina Beach does- which is dog friendly all year before 9am and after 6pm. There is also no alcohol allowed on the beach. If you do come from April to Sept, then all the quiet neighborhoods are a good place to walk. I wouldn’t go out at night alone though on account of the coyotes.
