    Not welcoming to non-Paisley Residents

I didn't feel welcome here with my doodle. Seems like the local dog owners claim this for themselves and if you are not part of their group, you won't be welcomed. Don't recommend. Lots of great parks in Edmonton where you don't feel like your in a mean mommy group

    Nice Environment but Terrible Neighborhood

We didn’t have much problem with the size of the park but all the regulars there were very aggressive towards other dogs and humans. I got attacked by three dogs there last time but their owners neither apologized nor told us if their dogs are fully vaccinated. I have been to several dog parks in the city and it was the first and only time that happened. Our dog was intimidated by other dogs while they were there too, but it enjoyed running everywhere and trying out the agility equipments after they were all gone. A few weeks have passed and I still have scars from those dogs.

If you need a fenced park last minute, this is “good enough”

Really small and really busy! It can be quite overwhelming, a bunch of dogs crammed into a small space. There is a little small dog area separate from the general dog area though. Some agility equipment is available but with it being so busy it’s not realistic to use. Not maintained well but that may just from how busy/used the park is.

    Fenced park

    Season visited: winter
Pros: one of the few fenced dog parks in the city. Trying to train your recall without losing your dog forever? Good place. Does have a separate agility/small dog side, difficult to access in the winter with snow drifts
Cons: Medium size. I have been to some truly ridiculously small dog parks. There is some room to spread out, but not a lot to sniff. Probably not good for shy dogs.
Busy-ness: Moderate number of dogs, even mid-day on a week day

    on the smaller side

The park is small but it’s a great park if you’re trying to interact your dog with other dogs it’s got a hill in the middle so you can stand there and you can watch your dog where ever he or she is

    Not working worth drive

This park is suitable for people that live in a Paisley or for small dogs. Everyone seems to know each other and weren’t too welcoming to an outsider. It’s so small, you can hardly play fetch. The only thing your pup can do is play with other dogs. I was very disappointed and would not go back.
