Sequoia National Forest

Canine companions are welcome in Sequoia National Forest! Dogs must be well-behaved, on a leash no longer than six feet, and inside an enclosed vehicle or tent at night. Owners are allowed no more than two pets to any one campsite. Sequoia National Forest boasts a spectacular landscape with towering trees, soaring granite monoliths, glacier-carved canyons, roaring whitewater and more. There are three National Recreation Trails in Sequoia National Forest: Summit, Cannell Meadow, and Jackass Creek. Visitors can check out its official website for information on trails, recreation, attractions, passes, and permits. Dogs are not permitted on developed swimming beaches in the National Forest or in neighboring Sequoia National Park. Visit Website
