    So fun!

My Husky is very shy, so she stayed close, but we always love the beach ⛱

    Large Beach Area

this is a great beach area. I went at around 8-9am and it wasn’t terrible crowded. we didn’t run into many people or other dogs. my dog had a blast and we definitely will be back.

Has Pros and Cons, Overall Great Beach

    Pros:
*You can drive onto the beach with your vehicle. As another reviewer mentioned, the entrance by Best Western is less crowded
*If you go early in the morning, there is less people and our dog loved running around on the beach
*The views at sunrise and sunset are amazing
*You can go clamming, fly kites, ride electric bikes/mopeds, and so much more here

    Cons:
*There are horses that you can ride that go back and forth continuously on the beach. They do not pick up their horse poop as often as they should so you have to go around it. Gross.
*It can get crowded at times.

    Great from the Butterclam Side

Don’t access the beach from the Taurus side as that is where the dog beach ends and driving on the beach can occur. But if you access from the Butterclam end you have safe place to park and unload the fur kid. It’s peaceful on this side and nice walk for you and your dog.

    Large beach, lots of cars

The beach itself was very large and not crowded with people, but there were tons of cars driving back and forth (and not slowly) along the beach. Definitely not a place to take your dog if you dont trust them off leash around cars. My dog had a great time running around!

    My Dog Loves It Here!

We’ve been twice and it’s great! Very safe, others are respectful of space and it’s clean. We’ve met other people and doggie friends This is definitely our new place to get her out

    First timers

The beach was not too busy on a Monday. We were able to find a spot where our dogs could run free. We will definitely return. Pretty good location.
