Amistad National Recreation Area

Amistad National Recreation Area in Del Rio, TX, is dog friendly! The park is known for its water-based recreation, camping, hiking, rock art viewing and its rich cultural history. Leashed dogs are welcome to explore picnic areas, campgrounds, parking lots and developed trails. Pets are not allowed in administrative buildings, archaeological sites, caves and rockshelters, marinas, docks, walkways and launch ramps, except when proceeding directly to or from a boat. Dog owners must clean up after their pets and dispose of waste in trash receptacles. Visit Website
