Dogs are welcome to join you as you take to the water on a Tahoe City Kayak rental in Tahoe City, CA. While rentals are pet friendly, dogs are not allowed in the Tahoe City Kayak building. Dog friendly
Staff were professional and helpful! We were able to bring our dog on a tandem kayak with us. Technically dogs are not allowed on the beach where they launch the kayaks (you’re supposed to paddle up north near the bike trail and board your dog from there), but if the guys working at the kiosk that day are chill and no one else is complaining, then you can bring your dog straight onto the kayak from the launch point.
