Dover Stone Church

An ancient "cathedral-shaped" cavern on a brook, Dover Stone Church is dog friendly. Dogs must be leashed during their trek to the historic attraction. The area features a Gothic formation of stones, a "pulpit" rock ledge, a brook flowing through the cavern and a small meadow with three spring-fed ponds. Visit Website

    Beautiful, easy hike

Lovely hike. There is a very short hike (over rocks) to get to a cave with a small waterfall that feeds a running stream. Then there are three paths for hikes that range from 1 - 1.5 miles. This was a fabulous hike through a forest, but you have to be able to walk up woodsy hills and over stone paths. We did the lower trail; saving the others for another day. And, most importantly, my dog loved it! I let him run through the stream by the cave, but kept him on leash for the hike due to fear of ticks.
