Loess Hills State Forest
Loess Hills State Forest is a dog-friendly destination in Pisgah, IA. The State Forest is comprised of four units, totaling 11,600 acres, and offers a variety of hiking trails to enjoy. The Pisgah unit features a small lake with fishing and an overlook with spectacular views of the forest, prairies, the Missouri River Bottomlands and Nebraska. Please note that dogs must be leashed during their visit.
